Jake Simpson
Jake Simpson is the 2018 winner of the Dan Hemingway Creativity Prize, awarded for his creative potential in video making.

His winning submission was Photo 84: an introspective musing, a highly engaging four minute visual essay on the power of snapshot photography and its legacy across generations.

Jake is currently studying A Levels in History, French and Economics and is busy applying to universities to study History and Chinese. But he'll be taking a gap year first, to do lots of travel and volunteering, and hopefully make some more videos along the way.

The 2018 judges were Miles Waters, Will Wiles and Sue Hemingway.
