We're delighted to announce that the winner of the 2015 Dan Hemingway Short Story Prize at the University of St Andrews, for her short story 'Christopher's Condition' is Emily Caulton.

Emily Caulton is in her third year at St Andrews studying Arts, and her story is about the experience of undergoing a life saving operation. This year's judges John Burnside, Reif Larsen, Ruth Thomas and Sue Hemingway were unanimous in choosing it as the winner from an impressive group of 32 entries for the prize.
